Immigration extends UK special passport intervention...

原文原文 / Original Text

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has extended the Special Passport Intervention Exercise in the United Kingdom to run from October 6 to 30.

This is contained in a statement by the Service Public Relation Officer, Deputy Comptoller of Immigration (DCI), Akinsola Akinlabi.

Akinlabi said the NIS, acting on the directive of the Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, extended the exercise due to the high turn out and the sustained demand by Nigerians.

He therefore urged Nigerian communities in the UK to take advantage of the extension to renew their passports, and also take note of the venues for the intervention exercise.

He said that the venue for the exercise in Cardiff would be announced subsequently, hence, applicants are advised to keep tabs on the Nigeria High Commission’s website and the NIS official communication channels.
