原文原文 / Original TextGhanaian Afrobeats artiste PBee is connecting with lovers and the heartbroken with his latest single, “Lose My Mind,”featuring SIICIE.
The romantic track explores the emotional complexities of falling deeply in love, touching on vulnerability, attachment, reassurance and the fear of losing someone special.
Built around the refrain, “When I lose my mind, oh my baby sumo mi,” the song portrays the feeling of finding comfort and emotional security in one person when everything else appears uncertain.
The record blends Ghanaian-English and Twi lyrics with melodic Afrobeats production, giving it a distinctly Ghanaian character while maintaining an accessible sound.
“Lose My Mind” presents love from two perspectives — the excitement of being deeply connected to someone and the memories that can resurface for those dealing with heartbreak.
For listeners in relationships, the song offers a romantic soundtrack, while its emotional themes may also resonate with those reflecting on past relationships.
PBee, born Michael Osei Frimpong in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, is an emerging Ghanaian artiste signed to Grind Don’t Stop Records.
He first attracted wider attention after a freestyle video for his debut single, “Space,” gained traction on social media. He has since continued to build his catalogue, including “BAD,” featuring Ghanaian singer Camidoh.
