Troops of the Nigerian military attached with different theatres of operations have rescued many victims kidnapping in its ongoing efforts to sustain its kinetic operations in all the six geopolitical zones across the country.

This is just as the troops arrested many of the kidnappers wrecking havoc in the country while recovering their weapons and other logistics including AK-47 rifle, ammunition, motorcycles aiding terrorists’ movements.

The Director, Defence Media Operations, Major-General Michael Onoja, who disclosed this to journalists in Abuja, explained that these operations reflect the desire of Armed Forces of Nigeria to resolve the various threats to security across the nation.

Daily Trust reports that the troops have in recent time stepped up their operations across all the theatres of operations with a view to tackling security challenges that are ravaging the country.

Providing an update to Nigerians on the efforts being made by the troops, Major-General Onoja the Armed Forces of Nigeria sustained its kinetic operations across all theatres of operations nationwide between September 4th and 10, 2026.

According to him, the military recorded several successes in the ongoing campaign against terrorism, kidnapping and secessionist agitations during the period under review.

“These operations reflect the desire of AFN to resolve the various threats to security across the nation,” the senior military officer explained.
