WayvePay, the digital banking platform of Wayve Microfinance Bank, has surpassed 100,000 customers, marking a major milestone in its drive to make banking, payments and financial services more accessible to Nigerians.

The milestone comes shortly after the platform transitioned from Bankit to WayvePay on September 18, 2026, under the new positioning, “WayvePay — Banking & Beyond.” The transition goes beyond a change of name and identity, with the platform expanding its technology, functionality and range of financial services.

WayvePay enables customers to open accounts digitally, transfer funds, make payments, pay bills, save, use debit cards and access business banking services through its digital platform.
